Hillacre Kennels
began when my mother bought her first Australian Silky
Terrier, and started showing when she was 16 years old. I
began handling dogs as a young child, in the early 50's and
have devoted my life to the Dog World. Other breeds owned,
exhibited and bred by us were Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Papillons
and Collie Rough, all of which have produced many Champions.
My association with the Shetland Sheepdog began in 1960, and
from that time we have bred some 70 Champions and 6 Grand

I am an International All Breeds Judge of 25 years standing,
and have judged in All States of Australia and had the honour
of officiating at 6 Royal Shows. My overseas
appointments include New Zealand, Philippines, Sweden,
Finland, Holland, Denmark, Norway and South Africa.
I am also involved with the Judges Training Program.
